Looking to be a part of the excitement in New York City during the holiday season? Grab a seat on our bus and get dropped off near Rockefeller Center around 11am! Spend the day adventuring on your own, and then catch the bus back to Billerica at 6:30pm. Itinerary:6:30am: Depart from the Billerica Recreation Department (248 Boston Road)11:00am: Arrive at St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York, NY6:30pm: Depart NYC from St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York, NY11:00pm: Arrive at the Billerica Recreation Department (248 Boston Road)The coach bus is equipped with Wifi, Outlets, a restroom, and a DVD entertainment system.Fee does not include bus driver gratuity.We cannot accept any cancellations after November 22nd.If this trip sells out, JOIN THE WAITING LIST! Leisure Adventure Club - How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Musical!
Leisure Adventure Club includes social activities and community outings for older teens and adults. This program is designed specifically to accommodate those with cognitive and developmental impairments. Programs are led by qualified Billerica Recreation staff members. Staff to participant ratio will not exceed 1:6.An intake assessment and conversation with our TR Coordinator is required prior to initial participation.Winter 2025 Outings: Registration will start 11/13 at 10 amDinner & Karaoke Night at Billerica Rec, $20Wednesday, Dec 4th, 6:15-8:45pmLAC Bus Karaoke hits the Recreation Department Program Space! The Musical, $65Saturday, December 14th, 5:30 – 9:30 pmWe will be taking a trip to the Wang Theater to see the musical of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Get in the Christmas spirit watching this entertaining show. Zoo Lights, $30Saturday, January 4, 5:30 – 9 pm We will be going to the Stone Zoo for Zoo Lights! Enter a winter wonderland of tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights spanning Stone Zoo's 26 acres. Take a sparkling stroll through festively decorated Yukon Creek, home to black bears, Canada lynx, reindeer and more. Dress warm! Make your own Pizza Party, $30Tuesday, Feb. 11, 5:30 – 9 pm We will be traveling to Prince Pizza for a Make your own Pizza Party! Cost includes ingredients, instruction, and tip. Umass Lowell Hockey Game, $30Friday, March 7, 6 – 10 pmJoin us for a trip to the Tsongas Center to watch Umass Lowell take on UNH in their last game of the season! If you would like to purchase any food or drinks at the arena please bring your own money. Hibachi Dinner with Friends, $45Wednesday, March 19, 6 – 8 pm Hibachi is not just a meal, it’s an experience! Watch the chef cook right at your table and then enjoy a quality meal with friends.
