LAS Holiday Party
Leisure Adventure Club includes social activities and community outings for older teens and adults. This program is designed specifically to accommodate those with cognitive and developmental impairments. Programs are led by qualified Billerica Recreation staff members. Staff to participant ratio will not exceed 1:6.

An intake assessment and conversation with our TR Coordinator is required prior to initial participation.


Winter 2025 Outings: Registration will start 11/13 at 10 am

Dinner & Karaoke Night at Billerica Rec, $20
Wednesday, Dec 4th, 6:15-8:45pm
LAC Bus Karaoke hits the Recreation Department Program Space! Chinese food dinner will be provided and we will sing along and dance with friends for a fun night in together at the Rec! 

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, $65
Saturday, December 14th, 5:30 – 9:30 pm
We will be taking a trip to the Wang Theater to see the musical of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!  Get in the Christmas spirit watching this entertaining show.
 
Zoo Lights, $30
Saturday, January 4, 5:30 – 9 pm
 We will be going to the Stone Zoo for Zoo Lights!  Enter a winter wonderland of tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights spanning Stone Zoo's 26 acres. Take a sparkling stroll through festively decorated Yukon Creek, home to black bears, Canada lynx, reindeer and more.  Dress warm!
 
Make your own Pizza Party, $30
Tuesday, Feb. 11, 5:30 – 9 pm
 We will be traveling to Prince Pizza for a Make your own Pizza Party!  Cost includes ingredients, instruction, and tip.
 
Umass Lowell Hockey Game, $30
Friday, March 7, 6 – 10 pm
Join us for a trip to the Tsongas Center to watch Umass Lowell take on UNH in their last game of the season!  If you would like to purchase any food or drinks at the arena please bring your own money.
 
Hibachi Dinner with Friends, $45
Wednesday, March 19, 6 – 8 pm
 Hibachi is not just a meal, it’s an experience!  Watch the chef cook right at your table and then enjoy a quality meal with friends. Price includes meal, tax, and tip.

*Please note, additional offerings may be added pending interest and availability. If you are interested in a trip but it is full, please register for the wait list. The wait list is how we know if there is enough interest to add additional trips!
