Leisure Adventure Club includes social activities and community outings for older teens and adults. This program is designed specifically to accommodate those with cognitive and developmental impairments. Programs are led by qualified Billerica Recreation staff members. Staff to participant ratio will not exceed 1:6.
An intake assessment and conversation with our TR Coordinator is required prior to initial participation.

XTreme Craze, $40
Friday 11/14/26 5:30-9:30pm
XTreme Craze in Woburn is the destination for a fun night out with friends! Pizza and soft drinks will be provided for dinner, as well as arcade credits, and laser tag. You may choose to bring your own money to purchase further arcade credits.
Cirque De Soleil…’Twas the Night Before, $70
Sunday 12/7/25 1:30-6:30pm
We’re heading to the Wang Theatre in Boston to see Cirque De Soleil perform “Twas the Night Before.” We ask that you eat lunch before this trip as we may not have enough time for concessions in the short admission.

Pasta Making Class at Tastebuds Kitchen, $70
Tuesday 1/13/26 5:15pm-9:15pm
Join us as we head to Tastebuds Kitchen where we will prepare our own handmade pasta and enjoy our meal. Please be sure to notify us of any allergies that we should be aware of.
Winter Wonderland Ball at Town Hall, $30
Thursday 1/22/26 6:00pm-8:30pm
Meet us at Town Hall for a night of dinner, dancing, and fun with friends. Dinner will be provided, so please notify us of any allergies we need to be aware of. We encourage folks to dress up, but please wear whatever you are most comfortable in.
Movie Theater Night, $28

We are heading to the movie theater to see a movie together! The movie and time will be announced closer to the trip. Feel free to bring your own money for concessions if you would like.
Snowshoeing at Boston Nature Center, $35
Sunday 2/22/26 11:30am-3:30pm
Let’s head to Mass Audubon’s Boston Nature Center in Mattapan for a guided snowshoeing tour! The accessibility coordinator at BNC will be made aware of accessibility needs, but please be aware that this activity could be strenuous. Dress appropriately for the cold!
Museum of Illusions, $52
Sunday 3/8/26 8:30am-12:30pm
Billerica Recreation staff will lead us through a tour of the Museum of Illusions in Boston. We will view the exhibits, play the dilemma game, and solve some puzzles. You may bring money for the gift shop should you choose.
