Leisure Adventure Club includes social activities and community outings for older teens and adults. This program is designed specifically to accommodate those with cognitive and developmental impairments. Programs are led by qualified Billerica Recreation staff members. Staff to participant ratio will not exceed 1:6.
An intake assessment and conversation with our TR Coordinator is required prior to initial participation.

Cut loose and kick off your Sunday shoes! Based on the electrifying 80’s movie, Footloose is showing at the Palace Theater in Manchester. Get ready for a show filled with great music and dancing!
Hiking Great Brook Farm, $20
Saturday 5/30/26 12:30pm-3:00pm
Our Billerica Recreation Staff will lead us on a fun and easy hike through Great Brook Farm in Carlisle. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and expect to do a bit of walking.

Sand Sculptures & Ice Cream at Hampton Beach, $30

Let’s head up to Hampton Beach to view the sand sculptures from their annual competition. You may bring your own money for purchases at shops. We will be stopping at Hodgie’s on the way home for a provided cup of ice cream. Please be prepared to do a significant amount of walking and standing on this trip.
Duck Boats in Boston, $50

All aboard the duck boat! We’re heading into Boston for a tour of the local sites by land and sea. Please eat before this trip as food will not be provided.
Barbecue at Micozzi Beach, $30

Meet us at Micozzi Beach to enjoy an evening of food, games, and music with friends! Please note that this event is pending weather and beach conditions - date/time and location are subject to change.
Hilltop Fun Center, $50

Hilltop Fun Center will be hosting us for unlimited access to Go Karts, Mini-Golf, Laser Tag & Batting Cages. You may bring your own bagged lunch or money to purchase food at the snack bar.
Dinner & Games at Dave & Busters, $75
Tuesday 8/18/26 5:15pm-8:45pm
LAC returns for a fan favorite - Dave & Buster’s! Drinks and dinner from a buffet will be provided, as well as a game card. You are welcome to bring your own money to make purchases of further game credits.
