Billerica Recreation explores the great outdoors, and "Hike Beautiful Billerica" has become a household name!

Winter is the best season to walk yourself warm; no bugs, no poison ivy, with the added bonus of snowshoeing – when snow cover allows.

Ten guided walks on mostly wooded trails to grow awareness of local open space, with a focus on camaraderie and local history.

This season, this program has been generously sponsored in part by Lahey Health, in order to keep program costs low to participants and encourage residents to experience this program and the great outdoors Billerica has to offer!

Due to the reduced fee structure, if you are registered for all 10 hikes and are unable to make individual dates within the schedule, we are unable to offer you a refund for those individual dates.  If you are not able to make all the walks, please consider signing up for our individual options.
