An enjoyable, challenging, and upbeat dance class including both Hip Hop and Jazz moves done to top 40 music. This class will enhance strength, rhythm and coordination and it's great for both boys and girls. Comfortable fitted clothing, jazz shoes or clean/dry street sneakers recommended.

Similar to the floor skills of gymnastics, it is a performing art that focuses on strength, stretch, and balance. Basic tumbling includes backbends, cartwheels, handstands/headstands, rolls, and more. Acro/Jazz incorporates jazz and dance technique and choreography with an Acro curriculum.

A Ballet based dance class for ages 3 to 5. This class helps children recognize their physical   person and teaches them basic dance moves through fun games and songs while enhancing their motor skills. This class will also consist of stretching and use of props. Comfortable clothing (or leotard and tights) and ballet slippers are recommended.
 
6:45 PM - 7:55 PM    Twilight Yoga - Winter, Thursday Evenings
Gain flexibility and strength while relieving stress through yoga! This is a combo of Yin & Yang yoga practices. During class, participants will hold postures for moments while using breathing techniques to go deeper for the certain pose. Participants will utilize yoga ‘flow’ to build heat from the inside to the outside of the body. This class is for all ability levels. Participants should be able to stand and sit during mat work. Yoga mat required.

Dancing is one of the most enjoyable ways to get moving. Regular dancing is great for losing weight, maintaining strong bones, improving posture and more! This class will get you moving, meeting new people, and getting the benefits of a great workout. Line dances are choreographed dances performed in unison by a group of people in rows. This class is for anybody! From day one, enjoy dances like country, Irish, Latin, and pop. Wear comfortable clothes and bring sneakers.

Each week, we'll work together to prepare fun snacks, entrées, and side dishes whose key ingredients are known to be really good for us! At the end of class your aspiring chef will receive the main ingredient or a sample of the finished dish, and the recipe so that they can show off what they’ve learned! Each session arrives with fresh new recipes and ideas to inspire your healthy eater! Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. Hatha Yoga is the most commonly practiced tradition of yoga. It is an ancient, time tested practice of well being and calm abiding. This class will incorporate yoga principles: centering and relaxation to calm the mind; yoga postures to stretch, strengthen and tone the body; breathing techniques to increase lung capacity, strengthen internal organs and deepen one's ability to relax; and meditation practice as a means to reduce stress and achieve spiritual self-enlightenment. Please bring a mat and wear loose, comfortable clothing. This class is appropriate for beginners to advanced practitioners as each person works at his or her own pace.

Have you ever wanted to try Bellydance? Make it a girls' night out with friends to learn this beautiful and joyous dance! You'll be surprised how much you'll learn in this beginner series. Fast & fiery to slow & smooth, this dance includes isolations, figure 8's, flowing hands/arms, a Greek dance and the beautiful Veil Dance - all set to a fantastic mix of world music. Increase flexibility, work all muscles, especially the core, and feel great in this FUN & friendly class! Wear comfortable clothing and thick socks. Veils may be borrowed.

Mix it up with games such as limbo, freeze dane, and musical hula-hoops. This class helps develop a healthy lifestyle while increasing self-confidence, boosting energy, and making new friends. Wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, and bring a water bottle.

Move, Groove, Dance, Get Fit and have fun! This energizing dance-fitness workout combines easy dance moves with traditional exercises to burn calories and strengthen abs, core, and your lower body. Get funky to a fantastic mix of "old school" dance & party classics to current, Latin & world music. This class is great for all levels; it's easy to catch on! Moves & dances will be explained as needed. Adjust the workout to suit you. We will use therabands for some songs to target bi's & tri's. Includes a segment on mats for core, glutes, & cooldown. From swinging on a high bar to balance beams, tumbling on mats to leaping into a ball pit - your child is sure to have a blast!

Knucklebones Gymnastics offers a unique twist for your beginning gymnast! Using age appropriate equipment and fun techniques, your child will gain creative and rhythmic movement, flexibility, fundamental gymnastics and gross motor skills. Children will learn gymnastics skills including the beam, high bar, mat routines, and trampolines!

Mindfulness meditation helps develop the skill of being attentive in the present moment to our inner and outer experiences with acceptance, patience, and compassion. We can learn to live more fully and less on autopilot—thus being more present in our lives. Regular meditation practice can help with stress and anxiety, improve interpersonal relationships, and cultivate concentration and mental sharpness while also develop greater ease and calm. Each class we will learn concepts and techniques, practice meditation together, and create a safe and supportive environment for discussing our experiences. Chairs are provided, we only ask you bring your curiosity!

Each week your child will participate in stretching, obstacles, and games to help gross motor skills, fitness, and fun. From swinging on a high bar to balance beams, tumbling on mats to leaping into a ball pit - your child is sure to have a blast!
 
10:00 AM - 10:50 AM    Preschool Gymnastics - Winter, Thursday Mornings
Knucklebones Gymnastics offers a unique twist for your beginning gymnast! Using age appropriate equipment and fun techniques, your child will gain creative and rhythmic movement, flexibility, fundamental gymnastics and gross motor skills. Children will learn gymnastics skills including the beam, high bar, mat routines, and trampolines!
 
1:00 PM - 1:45 PM    Creative Dancing - Winter, Thursday Afternoons
A Ballet based dance class for ages 3 to 5. This class helps children recognize their physical   person and teaches them basic dance moves through fun games and songs while enhancing their motor skills. This class will also consist of stretching and use of props. Comfortable clothing (or leotard and tights) and ballet slippers are recommended.
 
6:45 PM - 7:55 PM    Twilight Yoga - Winter, Thursday Evenings
Gain flexibility and strength while relieving stress through yoga! This is a combo of Yin & Yang yoga practices. During class, participants will hold postures for moments while using breathing techniques to go deeper for the certain pose. Participants will utilize yoga ‘flow’ to build heat from the inside to the outside of the body. This class is for all ability levels. Participants should be able to stand and sit during mat work. Yoga mat required.

Dancing is one of the most enjoyable ways to get moving. Regular dancing is great for losing weight, maintaining strong bones, improving posture and more! This class will get you moving, meeting new people, and getting the benefits of a great workout. Line dances are choreographed dances performed in unison by a group of people in rows. This class is for anybody! From day one, enjoy dances like country, Irish, Latin, and pop. Wear comfortable clothes and bring sneakers.
 
1:00 PM - 1:45 PM    Adaptive Yoga - Winter, Friday Afternoons
Build strength, gain flexibility, and practice relaxation techniques in this yoga  class great for those with various abilities. Please bring a yoga mat to class each week.
 
5:15 PM - 6:30 PM    Mindfulness Meditation - Winter, Friday Evenings
Mindfulness meditation helps develop the skill of being attentive in the present moment to our inner and outer experiences with acceptance, patience, and compassion. We can learn to live more fully and less on autopilot—thus being more present in our lives. Regular meditation practice can help with stress and anxiety, improve interpersonal relationships, and cultivate concentration and mental sharpness while also develop greater ease and calm. Each class we will learn concepts and techniques, practice meditation together, and create a safe and supportive environment for discussing our experiences. Chairs are provided, we only ask you bring your curiosity!
