Let’s get creative with electricity! In this junior electronics class, students will gain experience with creating their own electronics, designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments. Each class day consists of circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronics project, using components like lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors. Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day. Most class days include a take-home project.

With Carolisa of Moonlight Dj’sMove, Groove, & be ready to have FUN with friends! Warm up with some of the best pop & dance classics, set to simple routines and using easy moves to get loose on the dancefloor. Although we won’t have a mirror ball, in this mini-series we’ll review all the “party” line dances you’ll need so you can jump in at the next wedding or party! Plus we’ll learn an Irish dance, a barn dance, country, current pop to dance classics; all in the mix! Wear sneakers without too much tread; bring water. Beginners Welcome!

This class is not your average sports class! Using an array of unique equipment and creative learning, participants will focus on a new sport every class; learning fundamentals and techniques to set the groundwork for future fun.  From soccer to basketball, hockey to T-ball, we'll also throw in some outside the box sports like F1 and American Ninja Warrior…for the love of play!

You asked for it, so here it is—a class with all that art has to offer and more! Your child will love experimenting with many different materials while learning lots of new techniques. Leisure Adventure Club includes social activities and community outings for older teens and adults. This program is designed specifically to accommodate those with cognitive and developmental impairments. Programs are led by qualified Billerica Recreation staff members. Once a month we will host a Kids Night Out, which is a great way for parents to enjoy a quiet dinner, time with friends, efficiently run errands, or simply slow down and recharge without the hassle of finding childcare. Kids get to hang at the Rec and socialize while enjoying dinner and a movie, create a craft, play games, or other fun things!
